Project: Dal-Tile Product Catalog Covers

The annual cover for the Dal-Tile Product Catalog was always a challenge. The company's CEO had the final decision on the cover design and usually picked a design that featured an installation photograph or selected one that used a tile arranged into a design.

I've selected a few designs that represent the covers that were chosen during my time at Dal-Tile. I've also included some color layout comps below to show the level of detail that was required to get a design approved.

Every year I tried to get upper management to go in a new direction for the cover design, but they continued to select the typical designs of the past. But I always kept trying to change their mind.
